Indianapolis Colts (3-8) at Jacksonville Jaguars (7-4)

After dropping a hard-fought game to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12, the Jaguars need a win in a big way. They’ve slipped back into second place in the AFC South, and can’t continue to lose winnable games against inferior competition.

Thankfully for the Jaguars, I’m not predicting that’ll happen again in Week 13. Instead, I’m giving them the win against an Indianapolis Colts team that probably can’t wait for this season to be over. While Jacksonville will win this one, it will be more difficult than you’d figure just based on the varying levels of talent and difference in records.

As pathetic as the Indianapolis defense can be at times, Jacoby Brissett has kept this team in games time and time again. He almost did it last week against the Tennessee Titans, and will do it again in Week 13. Unfortunately, one man doesn’t make a football team.

Despite Brissett’s best efforts, the Jacksonville defense stiffens up in the clutch and comes up with the win. Blake Bortles and Leonard Fournette take advantage of a terrific matchup, putting a few scores on the board to make sure they improve to 8-4.

Prediction: Jaguars win 28-20
