Round 3: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

In my humble opinion, I believe that the players coming out of the Clemson football program are becoming some of the best players in the league. Whether it’s Vic Beasley and Grady Jarrett in Atlanta or Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins in Houston, these former Tigers are coming into the league knowing how to succeed.

Needless to say, I think Clelin Ferrell is going to walk in the same path as those guys mentioned above.

Ferrell is actually having his best year for Dabo Swinney, totaling 54 tackles, 14 tackles-for-loss, 7.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. For a defense that already has a plethora of play-makers, Ferrell would fit right in to Gus Bradley’s line-up.

Not to mention, he’s a big guy as well. At 6-5 and 265 pounds, Ferrell would add, yet another, large specimen to this Chargers defense. While I don’t believe he will become a player like Joey Bosa or Melvin Ingram, he does have the talent to become a solid starter in Los Angeles for many years to come.
