2018 NFL Draft: Los Angeles Chargers 7-round mock draft in November
By Derek Snyder
Round 7, Pick 2: Zachary Crabtree, OL, Oklahoma State
Speaking of massive offensive lineman, what if I told you that Los Angeles would have the opportunity to draft two guys over 6-6 in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft? It’s pretty exciting stuff if you’re asking me.
That said, Oklahoma State’s Zachary Crabtree would be a solid choice for the Chargers last pick in April’s draft. Take a look at some of Crabtree’s accomplishments last season at Oklahoma State, courtesy of the school’s athletics website:
"Second-team All-Big 12 by the coaches Started every game at right tackle for the second straight season Played a major role in Justice Hill becoming the first freshman in school history to surpass 1,000 rushing yards Was the leader of an offensive line that paved the way for a substantial uptick in the running game from the previous season, as the Cowboys went from averaging 3.6 yards per carry and 126.8 yards per game in 2015 to averaging 4.5 yards per carry and 171.0 yards per game in 2016"

At the end of the day, you’re looking for leaders who can come onto an NFL team and become a significant part of the team and culture. This Chargers football team is looking to get better at running the football and becoming more physical. Needless to say, Crabtree would help the Bolts accomplish both of those goals in 2018 and beyond.
