Fantasy Football 2017: Start or Sit for Week 13
By Dan Thomas
Last Week and Season-Long Record of Start/Sit
Week 12 QB Starts: Marcus Mariota, Matt Ryan and Andy Dalton -Mariota busted, Ryan fell short but Dalton finished with over 19 fantasy points. Result: 1/3
Week 12 QB Sits: Derek Carr – He had himself a pretty good real-life game but in fantasy, he finished with less than 16 points. Result: 1/1
Week 12 RB Starts: Orleans Darkwa – I can’t tell you why but the Giants gave Darkwa his fewest amount of carries since Week 7. He’s a guy who needs volume to succeed and he simply didn’t get it this game. Result: 0/1
Week 12 RB Sits: Joe Mixon and Doug Martin – I feel like once a week there’s a player I suggest to bench and then he goes off for his best game of the entire season. In Week 12, that guy was Joe Mixon. Result: 1/2
Week 12 WR Starts: Mohamed Sanu, Corey Davis and Kenny Stills – Sanu finished in the top-ten but both Davis and Stills didn’t get it done. Result: 1/3
Week 12 WR Sits: Jordy Nelson and Amari Cooper – Nelson keeps disappointing due to the quarterback situation and despite the touchdown, Cooper finished with just 7.9 PPR points. Result: 2/2
Week 12 TE Starts: Greg Olsen – He left the game early with an injury and only scored 2 PPR points. Result: 0/1
Week 12 TE Sits: Cameron Brate – He finished with less points than Olsen. Result: 1/1
