After a loss to the Rams, the New Orleans Saints are looking to bounce back when they meet the rival Carolina Panthers. Here are three bold predictions.

It’s another divisional week in the NFL and the second time the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers are meeting this season. Both teams have enjoyed success since their meeting and are in a tight race for the NFC South. The Saints were the favorite at first, but the Panthers are making their own case.

While their rivalry might not be as ruthless, the Saints and Panthers have a lot of stake going into this week. They’re both vying for playoff spots, have few weaknesses and quarterbacks playing at a high level. Week 13 has a lot of passion behind it and will prove to a make-or-break situation for the loser.

After their Week 3 meeting though, it’s not hard to see why the Saints should be the clear favorite. They had Cam Newton’s number in that game including three interceptions, allowed one rushing touchdown and no passing touchdowns. It was such a huge game and started their eight-game winning streak.

It was a must-win situation in their last meeting and it kind of is now. For the Saints, it’s a sweep and they would lead the Panthers by a game. After their loss to the Rams though, getting the win is a must to prove they’re still in the conversation.

Going into Week 13, these are three bold predictions for the New Orleans Saints at home against the Panthers.
