2. Ted Ginn Jr. has a day against the Panthers

Ted Ginn Jr. hasn’t been as productive or dominant as the Saints hoped. Even so, he’s stepped into Willie Snead’s shoes and is slowly earning a larger role in the offense. His relationship with Brees is growing and it’s shown in the past few weeks.

In the first meeting against his former team, Ginn had a productive day. He finished the game with two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. In addition, Ginn rushed for 15 yards during his kick returns. It was just the start but showed the weaknesses in the Panthers defense.

In Week 13, I see Ginn getting an even bigger role in the offense. Against the Panthers, he’ll have at least five receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. Unlike the last meeting though, he won’t be doing any kick returns so no rushing yards.

With a game as huge as this one, the rush will get a lot of attention, but the passing game is slowly coming back to life. Ginn has the third-most receptions on the team behind only Thomas and Kamara.

This game will also be a great way for Ginn to stick it to his old team. Even if there aren’t hard feelings, it’s always awesome to see a player have a huge game against their former team. I see this week as the ultimate proof of Ginn and Brees’ chemistry.
