1. The Saints remain atop the NFC South

Going into this game, there’s a lot at stake for the whole NFC South. Most of all, it’s basically the deciding factor on who will be the NFC South leader. The Saints have held the title for most of the season, but the Panthers and Falcons are hot too.

Considering the Panthers play in their last meeting, the Saints have the advantage. Winning will not only secure their place atop the NFC South but set them up for a playoff run. Even with a loss to the Rams, the Saints are in good shape to win out. That’s why I predict they’ll keep their place atop the NFC South.

Their schedule is somewhat difficult with two upcoming meetings against the Falcons. It’s going to be a challenge but will prove if they’re a contender. Beating the Panthers will be some cushion if they end up falling off the wagon. Their other competitors are the Bucs and the Jets, two teams who have suffered poor seasons.

The Saints have such heart and grit and a Week 13 win will prove it. Losing to the Rams will be the chain reaction for a bigger and better team. The Panthers better watch out, because they know exactly how the Saints reacted after a loss last time.
