Taking a look at which two teams will be facing off on primetime in NFL Week 13 for NBC’s Sunday Night Football, which should be a huge NFC clash.

Fans will be treated to a great game on Sunday Night Football this week as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to CenturyLink Field to face off against the Seattle Seahawks. The Eagles and Seahawks are both two of the top teams in the NFC. Philadelphia has the best record in the NFL and have won each of their last four games by at least 20 points.

The Seahawks are perennial contenders in the NFC but injuries to major defensive players like Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, and Cliff Avril are likely too much to overcome this season.

While the Eagles are being heralded as possibly the best team in the NFL, their schedule stands out as a major problem. In their ten wins this season, only a single one has come against a team that has a winning record (the Carolina Panthers in Week 4). Additionally, the last four opponents that the Eagles have beaten by a score of at least 20 have a combined record of just 12-32.

While this doesn’t mean that the Eagles aren’t a good team, it does mean we need to see a little more out of them in order to call them the best team in the NFL. Beating a team like the Seahawks, in Seattle much less, would certainly go a long way to quelling doubts about their weak schedule.

If you are looking at how much Seattle’s injuries have affected them, just look to the fact that the Seahawks are entering this game as a home underdog for the first time since Week 6 of the 2012 season. Seattle will certainly be well aware of this fact and looking to prove just how prominent their home advantage is. However, with so many injuries on defense, it is difficult to imagine them slowing down a Philadelphia offense that ranks first in points scored and third in total yards.
