3. The Eagles defense holds the Seahawks running backs to under 30 yards rushing

The Philadelphia Eagles have the best run defense in the NFL. They currently sit at No. 1, only giving up 65.1 rushing yards per game. 10 yards lower than second place. Philly also has just given up four rushing touchdowns, which has them sitting at No. 1 in the NFL. Their front seven fly to the ball and makes plays.

Seattle heads into the game with one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL. They do not have a running back they trust to give the ball to over 20 times a game and even if they did, he probably would not get them the yards they want. Against the Eagles, the Seattle Seahawks running backs are going to have a long day. Look for them to be held to under 30 yards rushing, which would be an impressive day for the Eagles defense.

Wilson will probably run for 30 or more because they will need him to, but the running backs will get dominated. If the Eagles can hold the Seahawks rushing attack to under 30 yards, it will be them one dimensional and give them an easier chance at a victory. By the way, last week the Eagles held the Chicago Bears running backs to -6 yards, in the entire game…
