2. RPOs play a huge role in the Eagles victory

For those of you that are not familiar, an RPO is a Run-Pass Option. Personally, these are my favorite plays to run, even in the NFL. Some will call them gimmicks or a college/high school offense, but I think they are a smart play depending on the defense you are going against.

When you play a team like the Seahawks, you immediately think about how aggressive they are and how they fly to the ball. That is what makes the RPO so enticing. They are designed to take advantage of teams that get aggressive and make them think twice before they fly to the football.

Seattle is going to be running to the ball at all times. They are coached well, and that is just how they have played defense for years now. So, if Philly is going to win this game, head coach Doug Pederson needs to make sure that he calls more RPOs than usual. I believe that they will gash the Seahawks with them. Last week, against the Bears, the Eagles scored a big touchdown on an RPO to Nelson Agholor.

If you did not see it, here is a breakdown of the play. These RPOs work so well for the Eagles because Wentz has the mind and arm to make them work. He can process the information quickly and make sure to take advantage of overly aggressive defenders.
