The San Francisco 49ers face the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Dec. 3 in NFL Week 13 of the 2017 season, and here is all the info you need to watch.
The San Francisco 49ers are set to take on the Chicago Bears in a Week 13 matchup that features quarterbacks who are relatively new under center. The rookie Mitchell Trubisky will take on former New England Patriots backup Jimmy Garoppolo as the latter gets his first start of the season.
In their last game, the 49ers struggled on offense, losing to the Seattle Seahawks by a 24-13 score. C. J. Beathard went 22-of-38 on the day throwing for 201 yards and an interception before Garoppolo came in at the tail end of the game. Garoppolo completed both of the passes he attempted for 18 yards, including a touchdown pass to Louis Murphy for the quarterback’s first touchdown as a member of the 49ers. Carlos Hyde led the team in rushing, pounding the rock 16 times for 47 yards. Beathard continued to show his mobility as a quarterback, rushing the ball five times for 21 yards, complementing Hyde well. Marquise Goodwin led all 49ers receivers on the afternoon, snagging four passes for 78 yards. Murphy finished the game with two receptions for 15 yards including the lone touchdown.
The Chicago Bears had the misfortune of running into a red-hot Philadelphia Eagles team last Sunday as they were defeated by a 31-3 score. Trubisky struggled in this one, going 17-of-33 on the day, throwing for 147 yards and two interceptions. He also led the Bears in rushing with four carries for 12 yards. Dontrelle Inman proved to be a bright spot in the passing game as he had a good day. Catching four passes for 64 yards, he averaged 16 yards a catch, stretching the field in the process.
The Bears are last in the NFC North with a 3-8 record while the 49ers are last in the NFC West at 1-10.
