The Atlanta Falcons are set for a huge NFC South showdown with the New Orleans Saints in Week 14. Here are three bold predictions for the game.

The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints meet up in a huge NFC South showdown on Thursday night football in Week 14. These two division rivals are currently trending towards the NFC Playoffs, but it’s the Saints who look primed to take home the division crown in 2017. Needless to say, if the Dirty Birds want any shot of defending their 2016 division title, they must beat New Orleans this week.

Even though Atlanta played a pretty tough game against the Vikings last weekend, it wasn’t enough to earn the victory. Surprisingly, even with Desmond Trufant and Brian Poole out for the game, the Falcons defense held Case Keenum and Minnesota’s offense to only 14 points. However, Atlanta was only able to muster three field goals agains, arguably, the best defense in football.

If there’s any reason for a Falcons fan to be optimistic about their matchup with New Orleans, it’s because of the way Atlanta played against the Vikings in Week 13. No, they didn’t win the game, but they did go toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the NFL.

Regardless, this match-up between the Saints and Falcons is going to be exciting. Here are three bold predictions for the game.
