The Denver Broncos look to win their fourth game of the season when they play the New York Jets in Week 14. Here are three bold predictions for that game.
With eight consecutive losses the Denver Broncos look to win their first game since Week four against the Oakland Raiders when they play the New York Jets this Sunday. Denver has a 3-9 record, placing them dead last in the AFC West Division.
The Jets have a 5-7 record, placing them third in the AFC East Division. They managed to come away with a victory last week against the Kanas City Chiefs. Their biggest win of the season came against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week four and they are 2-3 in their last five games.
New York ranks 17th in the league in total offense with 3,948 total yards. They also rank 18th in the league with 2,666 passing yards and 18th in the league with 1,282 rushing yards. The Jets rank in the middle of the road in all facets of their offense, making them a tough play for the defense.
On defense the Jets rank 23rd in the league with 4,242 total yards allowed. They also rank 20th in the league with 2,806 passing yards allowed and 25th in the league with 1,436 rushing yards allowed. They rank in the bottom third in the league in defense and the Broncos are capable of moving the chains against them. Whether Denver’s offense will put points on the board in this game is a different story.
Even though the best thing for the Broncos right now would be to lose this game to secure the best possible draft position for next year’s draft. Denver does have a chance at winning this game. Their defense is more than capable at shutting down New York’s offensive attack. The Jets’ defense is porous enough, that even Denver’s inept offense has the chance to put up points against them. This make for a very interesting match up between these two teams. With all that being said, here are three bold predictions for this game.
