1. Let’s Make It 9 Straight

The odds are very good that the Broncos lose their ninth straight game this week. Even though the team matches up well on paper that doesn’t mean they will easily come away with a victory. They matched up well with almost every team they played during their eight game losing streak, so telling me that they are going to easily win this game only reminds of how poorly they have played against inferior competition in the past.

Denver’s offense is horribly inefficient and quiet frankly might be one of the worst units in the league. Their offensive line makes it hard for the offense to get anything going on the ground. Poor quarterback play has caused the team to lose nine games this season, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it caused them to lose another game against the Jets on Sunday.

The Broncos’ season is over, meaning they don’t have a chance at making the playoffs. Other than pride and contract incentives, they don’t have much to play for, therefore it will be easy for some of the players to not put forth their best effort if the team starts to lose. This happens for most teams who are experiencing a losing season.
