Tight Ends

Start

Hunter Henry, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Washington Redskins – Henry started off the season slow but over the last two weeks he’s averaged 6 receptions, 79 receiving yards and 16.85 PPR points. I like Henry’s odds of scoring a touchdown this week against a team who has given up touchdown to an opposing tight end in four out of the last five games.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, New York Jets vs. Denver Broncos – It hasn’t been pretty for ASJ who has only caught two passes in three out of the last four games. Yet, I think owners need to take a chance with him this week. The Broncos have given up a touchdown pass to an opposing tight end in five out of their last six games and the odds are in ASJ’s favor of finding the end zone on Sunday.

Sit

Jared Cook, Oakland Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Over the last three games he has only caught four total passes. He can’t be trusted against a Chiefs defense who has only given up one touchdown to an opposing tight end this season.

Vernon Davis, Washington Redskins vs. Los Angeles Chargers – It used to be when Jordan Reed was out, Davis was automatically a TE1. Lately, that hasn’t been the case. Davis has only caught five passes over the last three games while the Chargers have only surrendered two touchdowns to opposing tight ends in 2017.
