1. Chargers will beat the Redskins, 28-17

What would you have said to me, if I told you the Chargers would be in position to win the AFC West after they started the year with four-straight losses? Without a doubt, I can promise you would’ve called me crazy. Actually, now that I think about it, some Los Angeles football fans did tell me that before the season even started when I mentioned this team and the postseason.

However, regardless of how this team got back into the mix, the Bolts have a great opportunity to improve their record to 7-6 this weekend against Washington.

There truly is an “Any Given Sunday” mojo that stretches across the NFL each weekend, but in terms of these two teams, I expect the Chargers to win somewhat easily. No, I don’t expect this to be a blow-out, but I do foresee the Redskins defense struggling to contain this red-hot Los Angeles offense.

Not to mention, if Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram can get pressure on Kirk Cousins throughout the game, it could get ugly for Jay Gruden’s squad in the StubHub Center. It’s time to get excited Chargers fans, because your favorite football team is getting hot at the perfect time of the year. It’s refreshing to finally here that isn’t it?
