The Dallas Cowboys enter Week 14 as .500 team with no clear path to the playoffs. With the New York Giants up next, here are three bold predictions for Sunday.
Thus far, this season for the Dallas Cowboys has been a gigantic letdown compared to the season they had last year when they won the NFC East championship. Since then, the Cowboys have had Ezekiel Elliott for eight games and have battled numerous injuries that have set the Cowboys back this season.
Even with the setbacks, the Cowboys are still 6-6 overall, and though they trail the Philadelphia Eagles by four games in the NFC East standings, they still have a chance at the playoffs with their .500 record, especially with a winnable game up next against the New York Giants.
That said, the Cowboys can add a win in Week 14, and though the chances of the playoffs aren’t as strong as one would like, there is still the opportunity that if the wins keep coming, the season can turn around and be a success.
That brings this weekend against the Giants, and though a lot has changed since Week 1 when they met previously, this is a game the Cowboys should win against a Giants team that has fired their head coach, general manager and aren’t sure about what they are doing at quarterback as well.
As bad as this season has been for the Cowboys, the Giants have had it worse. With Week 14 days away, here are 3 Bold Predictions for the Cowboys this Sunday in a must-win game if they want to have a shot at advancing to the playoffs in a few short weeks.
