The Los Angeles Chargers earned a big win over the Washington Redskins in Week 14. Here are 3 awesome benefits from getting the victory.

The Los Angeles Chargers knew they had to take care of business against the Washington Redskins to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs, and they passed this Week 14 test with flying colors. Not only beat they earn a tough-fought victory, but they were clearly the better football team from start to finish.

If there was one simple thing that I was impressed by in the Bolts 30-13 win, it was how well they controlled the line of scrimmage. According to ESPN, the Chargers only allowed a total of 65 rushing yards on Sunday afternoon, which is fantastic for a defense who’s been ranked in the bottom five of that category all season long.

We’ve all been looking for improvement in that category, and finally the Chargers look like they know how to defend the run. Thank goodness.

Plus, when you add the Bolts 174 yards on the ground versus the Redskins to that uplifting revelation, you’ll have tough time not smiling from the minute you wake up on Monday morning. That said, take a look at three awesome benefits the Chargers earned from their win over Washington in Week 14.
