Los Angeles Chargers: 3 Awesome benefits of win vs. Redskins
By Derek Snyder
2. Chargers are only one game behind AFC Wild Card leaders
When the Chiefs started tanking more than a month ago, no one thought they would lose enough games to give the Chargers a chance to win the AFC West. That said, if there was something we all thought would never happen, it would be Los Angeles competing for an AFC Wild Card seed by the end of 2017.

Needless to say, this team has proved us all wrong and are only one game behind the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans heading into the last three weekends of the year.
Thanks to a much-needed win over the Washington Redskins, the Bolts are now in a great position to make the playoffs in a variety of ways. Again, this seems impossible given their 0-4 start, but Los Angeles has continued to prove me wrong.
Plus, the Chargers have three very winnable games in-a-row against the Chiefs, Jets and Raiders to close out the season. If they go 3-0 or even 2-1 over the remaining weeks, this football team could legitimately sneak into the postseason due to the inconsistent play from the Titans and Ravens.
One way or another, the Chargers are gearing up for an exciting finish in 2017.
