Wynn currently plays left tackle for the Bulldogs, but because Kelvin Beachum plays left tackle, the Jets will move him inside to guard. That’s good for the Jets, because his presence in the middle will stabilize the running game in 2018.

At Georgia, Wynn has shown functional strength for the interior of the offensive line, and according to Walter Football, one scout said, “Wynn blocks with aggression and has a temperament that is hard to find in college blockers.”

He also adds balance to his game, because he can be a solid pass blocker too. The Jets need as much help as they can get for one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL this season. With the addition of Price, and already having Beachum, the left side of the line could be solid.

Wynn is a good pickup for the late second round, and the Jets still have time to maneuver in the third round to get other positions they need. The line is now getting much better than it was in 2017, and the running game could be a force to be reckoned with if they continue to add to the unit up front.
