Fantasy Football 2017: Start or Sit for Week 15

Running Backs
Start
Jay Ajayi, Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants – The former Miami Dolphins running back hasn’t had much fantasy success with the Eagles but that’s ready to change this week. With Carson Wentz going down with a season-ending injury, the Eagles should lean on the run a little more. Ajayi is coming off a season-high in carries (15) with the Eagles and that number is likely to rise in a great matchup.
Kerwynn Williams, Arizona Cardinals vs. Washington Redskins – Adrian Peterson has missed the last two games with an injury and in that time Williams has averaged 18.5 touches and 92.5 yards per game. Peterson is looking doubtful for Week 15, so expect Williams to push for 20 touches against the 26th ranked run defense.
Sit
Frank Gore, Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos – The 34-year old is coming off a game where he touched the ball 37 times. With the team playing just four days later on Thursday Night Football, there’s a good chance he’ll see his averaged workload scaled back. Not to mention, his matchup against the Broncos isn’t the best.
DeMarco Murray, Tennessee Titans vs. San Francisco 49ers – I didn’t like Murray last week and I don’t like him again this week. Over the team’s last six games, Murray has scored less than double-digit fantasy points in four of them and has averaged less than 11 carries per game during that span. Murray’s best chance of helping owners out is by scoring a touchdown but the 49ers haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown since Week 8. Murray’s name is bigger than his game when it comes to fantasy football.
