After a loss to the Falcons, the New Orleans Saints look to get back on track against the New York Jets. Here are three bold predictions for the Big Easy.

After coming off a disappointing loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the New Orleans Saints have nowhere to go but up. This week, they take on the New York Jets and fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Maybe too big of one yet, because the Saints will meet the Falcons the next week.

Headed into this week though, the Saints are the clear favorites. Despite some mistakes, there were some high points against the Falcons including three interceptions. The Falcons aren’t even comparable to the Jets, though.

The Jets looks like they’re losing their quarterback Josh McCown to a hand injury and they’re just coming off a blowout loss to the Broncos. Going up against the Saints is going to be a huge hurdle but a seemingly easy win for the Saints. In any case, it’s a chance for the Saints to sharpen up their skills and get back on track before they meet the Falcons again.

Defensively, the team made some mistakes including allowing third-down conversions and a lot of penalties to give the Falcons some momentum. Offensively, the team lost Kamara, leaving only Ingram out there and eventually, a costly end zone interception for Brees. This few mistakes cost them the game and they need to show they’re above it.

Before the Saints and Jets meet, these are three bold predictions for the New Orleans Saints.
