3. The Saints D has a day against the Jets

Last week against the Falcons, the Saints were missing some of their best players and had a few players, not at full power. The most obvious one being Marshon Lattimore, who had to keep getting oxygen during the game. Either way, the Saints defense put up a good fight, but couldn’t finish.

Against the Jets, they’ll get a chance to regroup and hopefully, get some of their momentum back from earlier this season. That’s why my prediction for this week is especially bold or at least, I think so. I predict the Saints D will end the game with at least three interceptions, one pick-six, two sacks and a recovered fumble.

Currently, it’s unclear who will be starting for the Jets because they don’t have many options and the Saints defense has dominated against poor quarterbacks. Even with the possibility of Klein, Vaccaro and Hendrickson being out, the backups proved they’re just as capable. Considering how great the Broncos played, the Saints will have a field day.

Going up against the Jets will be like a vacation, but they should play just as hard. The Saints don’t have an easy road ahead and it’s not the time to play as such. They need to keep making plays, pressuring the quarterback and not give their opponent the chance to score.
