The Los Angeles Rams face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Dec. 17 in NFL Week 15 of the 2017 season. Here’s all the information you need to watch.
One could argue that the winner of this week’s Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks game will win the NFC West divisional title. The Seahawks already beat the Rams earlier this season (in Los Angeles), and seem to be peaking at the right time. The Seahawks did lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, but Russell Wilson still threw for three touchdowns and the Seahawks have an awesome record in the month of December with him at the helm.
The Los Angeles Rams, on the other hand, are trending down. Their quality of victories this season isn’t great, and they just lost to the Philadelphia Eagles at home…and with Nick Foles playing quarterback in the fourth quarter. The Rams currently sit in the third spot of the NFC Playoff picture, but a loss to the Seahawks could result in the LA squad falling all the way down to the sixth seed.
The Seahawks might be missing Pro Bowlers in the secondary (i.e. Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor), but their defense still is among the best in the league, particularly when playing at home. The Rams have an explosive offense, but they’ll face a tough challenge going to Seattle and facing the hostile “12th man” crowd.
Details for Sunday’s game are below:
With the NFC West title essentially on the line, both teams figure to give it their all. For the Rams to win, Todd Gurley has to play better than he did in these two teams’ prior matchup this season. For the Seahawks to win, Russell Wilson will have to continue to play at an MVP level. This should be a good one, so don’t miss it!
