The New York Giants have a lot of tough decisions to make during the 2018 offseason. These five starters won’t be around when all is said and done.

It’s been a disastrous 2017 season for the New York Giants. Currently sitting at 2-12 heading into Week 16, they’ve got little to play for and plenty to prepare for as the offseason looms large. Based on the way the last few months have gone, drastic changes will be made in 2018.

In hopes of preparing you mentally for the upcoming overhaul, I’ve decided to make a few predictions for the offseason. More specifically, I’ve pinpointed five starters (current or earlier in the year) who I’m predicting simply won’t be around in 2018. Whether that’s a result of being released or traded, it doesn’t matter.

More than anything, this is an exercise to determine players who may no longer be wanted — or who may not want to be here. With so much turmoil and turnover going on within the Giants franchise, there are bound to be some players who decide to take their talents elsewhere. It also works the other way; the team may decide a few key players are no longer worth keeping around.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at five Giants starters who I’m predicting won’t be around in 2018. I could be completely off the mark with these, but that’s the opposite of the point when it comes to offseason speculation.
