D/ST

Start

Chicago Bears vs. Cleveland Browns – Going into Week 16 the Bears D/ST has been eighth-best in fantasy and over the last three weeks they have averaged 9.7 points per game. While that’s good, that’s not the main reason owners should be starting the Bears in the championship week. Instead, it’s all about the Browns. Over the last six weeks, opposing D/STs facing the Browns have averaged 13.3 points per game. I, like many, expect the Browns offense to struggle on the road.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Miami Dolphins – Many were a little hesitant to start the Bills D/ST last week because of how well the Dolphins played on Monday Night Football against the Patriots in Week 14. As we know now, the Dolphins offense was not effective (as usual) and the Bills D/ST finished with 10 fantasy points. This week the Dolphins travel to Arrowhead to take on the Chiefs who have averaged 12 fantasy points over the last two weeks. I believe the Chiefs get it done at home this Sunday.

Sit

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons – The Saints D/ST might be the seventh-best in fantasy going into this week but they haven’t scored at least nine point since Week 8. I don’t anticipate the Falcons offense to do great things on the road but they’ll do enough to prevent the Saints from finishing in the top-10 this week.
