The Minnesota Vikings face the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, Dec. 23 in Week 16 of the 2017 NFL season. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
When it comes to the Minnesota Vikings, not many people saw the 2017 season coming for this team. Had Sam Bradford been able to stay on the field, maybe fans would’ve expected something close to this. However, who would’ve thought that they would be at the top of the NFC North with Case Keenum at the helm? Yet here they are heading into Week 16 against the rival Green Bay Packers.
This season ultimately ended in disappointment for the Packers after last Sunday. Aaron Rodgers had missed the heart of the season due to a broken collarbone. However, they hurried him back to action and he started in Week 15. Ultimately, though, he shouldn’t have come back and it showed as he and Green Bay fell to Carolina and their playoff chances drifted away.
As for the Vikings, they are in a spot where they can play for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. They have been on a tear all season, playing an impressive and balanced brand of football. If Mike Zimmer’s crew can continue doing just that, they’ll be able to top their rivals and move on towards the postseason.
