The Seattle Seahawks face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 24 in NFL Week 16 of the 2017 season. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Playoff lives are on the line in Arlington, Texas as the 8-6 Dallas Cowboys host the 8-6 Seattle Seahawks. Currently each team is on the outside looking in, but they can’t even worry about looking for the help they need to get into the post season unless they take care of their own business first.
Seattle comes into Week 16 needing to get their stuff together. They recently were blown out by the Los Angeles Rams with a shot at first place in the NFC West on the line. After their embarrassing play on the field, they started taking shots at one another as linebacker Bobby Wagner and safety Earl Thomas were going at one another via the media.
They say they’ve fixed their issues — what else are they supposed to say — but we have yet to see them on the field since their spat where Thomas called Wagner out for playing while hurt. If they keep struggling, their season will come to an end on Christmas Eve.
Dallas meanwhile is all smiles. They enter Week 16 on a three-game winning streak, and they have 2016 NFL rushing leader Ezekiel Elliott back after he served his six game suspension. With him they’re a different offense and could cause the Seahawks a ton of problems.
Both teams still need several things to go their way, but a win on Sunday could keep their chances of fighting in the post season alive. That alone makes this a must watch and for anyone outside the viewing area there’s always NFL Sunday Ticket, or NBC Sports Stream for streaming services as well as Game Pass for replays.
