Wynn is a versatile lineman who has played guard and tackle in his college career. He played left guard in 2016 and left tackle in 2017. According to Walter Football:

"Because he is shorter and doesn’t have ideal length, some sources think that Wynn could move to guard or center in the NFL. Wynn started at left guard in 2016, but scouts think he is athletic enough to also play center. Wynn’s size and skill set has drawn comparisons to Kelvin Beachum, who is undersized but has managed to carve out a career at left tackle in the NFL. Wynn is just a natural football player who finds a way to get the job done, thus he might end up sticking at left tackle."

His versatility is perfect for the Jets, because it gives them a player who can fill in in the case of an injury. His comparisons to Kelvin Beachum aside are apt, and Jets fans can imagine having a guy like Beachum alongside Beachum. That could only help Beachum’s game improve.

Wynn is a good run blocker who blocks with abandon, a rare feature in college players. He is also a solid pass blocker. His balance in run and pass blocking ability will help sure up some major issues the Jets had in 2017.
