3. Wide Receiver help

No matter who the quarterback will be in 2018, they will need some more weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Buffalo ranked 31st in passing yards this season, with only the Chicago Bears throwing for less. This position will not be to easy to fill as the first two though, at least with an elite player.

The top free agent receiver expected to be available in Sammy Watkins. However, considering the Bills traded Watkins to the Rams at the start of the season it seems highly unlikely they would sign him back. Allen Robinson and Jarvis Landry will also be available on the market but Robinson is coming off of a season-ending injury and Landry could fetch a huge contract on the open market. The other receivers available seem to be role players more than true dynamic number-one options.

There are a few great receivers available in the draft, such as Oklahoma State’s James Washington, but if the Bills decide to draft a quarterback and defensive linemen in the first two rounds. More likely the Bills will have to draft a receiver in a later round, where the hit-rate for skill position players is much lower.
