The New England Patriots are coming off a bye, as per usual, and they welcome the Tennessee Titans into town for the Divisional Round matchup.

The Patriot Way is the mantra they live by in New England. The New England Patriots don’t allow anything to stand in the way of their goal, and that’s hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at season’s end. That said, there’s been a lot surrounding the Patriots in the last few weeks.

It all started with Bill Belichick revoking access from Tom Brady’s trainer Alex Guerrero. Now there are reports that the Browns would’ve offered their fourth overall pick for Jimmy Garappolo. ESPN’s Seth Wickersham wrote a long form piece discussing the rift at One Patriot Place.

According to the piece, Kraft ordered Garappolo to be traded:

"The meeting ended with a clear mandate to Belichick: trade Garoppolo because he would not be in the team’s long-term plans, and then, once again, find the best quarterback in the draft and develop him."

Then he traded Garappolo for a second round pick to the San Francisco 49ers. It was a head-scratcher of a deal, because he most certain could’ve gotten better. How will all of this effect the Patriots moving forward? Let’s find out.
