1. Nick Foles, QB

This one is a no-brainer. After seeing Carson Wentz go down with a torn ACL, all eyes shifted to Nick Foles. He started the final three games for the Eagles, and the results were mixed. He threw for 237 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in a Week 15 win against the Giants, but had one touchdown and two picks in the final two games.

Still, there’s reason for optimism. Not only does Foles boast a winning record in his career (including a 17-10 mark as a starter for the Eagles), but he also has some playoff experience. He started for the Eagles back in January of 2014 and played well enough to win.

In that game against the New Orleans Saints, Foles was 23-of-33 for 195 yards and two touchdowns — with no interceptions. He led the team to a lead with less than five minutes to go, but a last second field goal did the team in 26-24.

Since then, Foles story has been different. He struggled with health in 2014, was sent to the Rams in 2015 and cut after just one season. He backed up Alex Smith in Kansas City a year ago, before rejoining the team that drafted him back in 2012.

Now he has a chance to be a hero for them, and all he has to do is play within himself. The Eagles are good enough on defense to give them a shot at the win. The key will be if Foles can make the plays when they’re there. If he does, Saturday could be a good day for Philly.
