4. Blake Bortles will toss, at least, two interceptions

While many fans around the league believe Blake Bortles is one of the worst quarterbacks in the league, he actually hasn’t had a terrible season in 2017. Coming into the postseason, the Jags passing game finished in the bottom-half of the NFL, but only by a few spots. However, even though Bortles has improved this year, I expect the Steelers to force, at least, two interceptions from the former UCF standout on Sunday.

As I mentioned in the previous bold prediction, Jacksonville will get their yardage because of Leonard Fournette, but Bortles will have to throw the football downfield in order for the Jags to win this game. Sure, he’s capable of making those big plays, but I’m not positive he can in the postseason, especially in Heinz Field.

The biggest key for the Steelers in getting Bortles to throw some errant passes, is their talented pass-rush. If Pittsburgh can get some pressure on him early in the first-half, Bortles will find a way to give the black and gold some extra possessions, resulting in great field position.

The fourth-year quarterback has thrown two or more interceptions four different times this season, so it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to see it happen again this weekend.
