1. Get pressure on the quarterback

The biggest and most costly mistake the Saints made against the Vikings was not getting pressure on the quarterback. Even though it was Sam Bradford, the Saints let him get away with a lot. He had a lot of time to pass, had some rushing yards and threw for three touchdowns along with 346 yards.

This time, the Saints are going up against Case Keenum. Keenum has been an extraordinary replacement for both Bradford and Bridgewater. He has gone up against some of the best teams in the league and been victorious. This week, the Saints will really need to work on getting pressure on him.

Even with Alex Okafor out, the Saints still have Cameron Jordan and Sheldon Rankins as the two big men up front. They need to find those crucial holes in their O-line and make Keenum nervous.

If the Saints can’t get pressure on Keenum, they need to use their young and talented group of safeties and cornerbacks to try to get takeaways. Marshon Lattimore, Marcus Williams and Vonn Bell are showing such promise and will be ready to go against the Vikings this time.

The Saints defense is on an entirely different level from their Week 1 performance. This time, their defense should be able to take care of business like they did against the Panthers last week.
