2. The Eagles defense is no joke

The Eagles defense has been among the best statistical units all year, finishing the regular season ranked fourth in both yards allowed and points allowed. However, there has been some concern about how good this unit truly was considering the ease of Philadelphia’s schedule this season.

Rest assured, holding the Atlanta Falcons to just ten points despite Julio Jones gaining over 100 yards is no small feat. Atlanta didn’t play at the same offensive level as they did during their record-breaking 2016 campaign, but they are still a team packed with explosive talent on that side of the ball.

There are still a ton of offenses in the playoffs that could give the Eagles trouble, including the fourth-ranked scoring New Orleans Saints team and the tenth-ranked Minnesota Vikings. The second-ranked New England Patriots, fifth-ranked Jaguars, and eighth-ranked Pittsburgh Steelers also all remain as possible Super Bowl opponents if the Eagles can make it that far.

Still though, after watching the fantastic performance the Eagles just had on Saturday it is hard to not feel confident in this unit.
