3. Jacksonville Jaguars

It was the game of the weekend — well, at least until the next one kicked off. The Jacksonville Jaguars were able to score a huge win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were incredibly guilty of looking past the Jaguars.

Anyone who says they weren’t didn’t see the tweet from Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell where he was discussing the Steelers getting a rematch this week against the Jags and next against the Patriots, two teams that beat them in the regular season.

Jacksonville obviously was out to prove they’re for real, and they came out on fire. They jumped out to a 21-0 lead, but Pittsburgh, to their credit, wouldn’t go away. They kept getting back into it, but every time they got close the Jaguars would score again to keep them at arm’s length.

Leonard Fournette was great, with three touchdowns and 109 yards on the ground and Blake Bortles was good enough with 214 yards and no turnovers.

However, what was most impressive was the fact that they didn’t quit. Even when the Steelers would score, it was on a miraculous play where a receiver would make a catch despite blanket coverage. They now have to go toe to toe with the defending champions, but it’s more than they could have hoped for when the season began.
