Out of all the quarterbacks entering the 2018 NFL Draft, Rosen is the most pro ready. He’s the most polished and comes from a system set up to develop pro quarterbacks.

He has all the tangibles you want in a quarterback. Rosen is accurate at all three levels (short, intermediate, and deep). His NFL passer rating (per Pro Football Focus Elite) is relatively low when facing pressure, and he faced a lot of it at UCLA, but passer rating doesn’t factor in the incompletions that aren’t necessarily his fault.

The adjusted completion percentage (which does account for situational stats) under pressure is only around six percentage points different from his adjusted completion percentage in all situations. In contrast, Baker Mayfield’s adjusted completion percentage is 12 percent lower when facing pressure.

When it comes to the deep ball, he is accurate enough. His adjusted completion percentage (per Pro Football Focus) on balls that travel 20+ yards in the air is 42 percent. That’s 39th in the country. It is a bigger drop off than Mayfield, but you should expect a bigger drop off with the offensive line that UCLA had in comparison to Oklahoma.
