The Philadelphia Eagles face the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. Take a look at three key players for the home team.

The Philadelphia Eagles take on the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. After Carson Wentz’s injury, those were words many in football circles thought they would never utter. However after beating the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, the Eagles have put themselves in a position to go back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2005.

They are a well-rounded team. In particular, the backfield and defensive line are positions of strength and both have played a part in getting the Eagles to this point. At the center of it all is a tight end by the name of Zach Ertz, who established himself this season as one of the top playmakers in all of football. Combine that with a powerful pass rush and you have a formula that guarantees success for years to come.

The Eagles hope that success continues on Sunday with a win over a Minnesota Vikings team that are no slouches themselves.

Who needs to step up for the Eagles if they want to win this game? We take a look at three key players that need to have big games if Philadelphia wants to survive and advance to the big game.
