The Buffalo Bills made their long-awaited journey back to the NFL Playoffs for the first time since 1999 in 2017, and it can be the start of a run if they play their cards right.

The New England Patriots dynasty has to come to an end sooner or later, and that means someone has to step up and take the mantle. Why not the Buffalo Bills?

Since the days of Marv Levy, the Bills haven’t had long-term success. They’ve had a couple of winning seasons here and there, but nothing like making the playoffs nine times in 11 seasons and four consecutive Super Bowl appearances. Their four straight Super Bowl appearances has still yet to be matched and unlikely ever will be.

Head coach San McDermott has them headed in the right direction on the field. Now, he needs help from general manager Brandon Beane to help sustain success. He will have to make the right decisions to sustain the success, rather than make this playoff appearance a one-off.

The loss to the Jaguars showed where the Bills were truly lacking. This is the offseason where the Bills can make right after decades of futility. Here are some of the right steps to make it happen.
