According to Walter Football, Pettis is getting mixed reviews:

"Some scouts really like Pettis and say he is a smooth receiver who is fluid, fast, quick handed, and dangerous after the catch. Other sources have said they think Pettis lacks elusiveness, drops too many passes, and is just a guy."

Despite this fear, Pro Football Focus Elite gave him a drop rate of 4.7 percent of catchable balls. That was among the lowest drop rates in the nation. The combination of his size, speed, and route running ability makes him a good candidate for the slot in Buffalo, and his special teams ability make him a prime candidate for early playing time as a rookie punt returner.

Aruna is described as an explosive and fast defensive end. However, he’s only in his fifth year of playing football in his life. So, he’s a raw talent that still can be molded. He’s listed at 6-4, 265 pounds, but with an NFL strength and conditioning program, he can add the weight he needs to produce at the NFL level from the defensive end position.

Despite his four years at Tulane being his first four years of playing organized football, he was still able to record 19 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. His ceiling is high, and with the right coaching, he can reach that high ceiling quickly.
