The Los Angeles Chargers have some tough decisions to make this offseason. Take a look at three players they must re-sign over the next few months.

While it was disappointing for the Los Angeles Chargers to miss out on the 2018 NFL Playoffs, the team did finish 9-7 after starting the season 0-4. No one in professional football believes in moral victories, but the fact Los Angeles ended the season on a 9-2 run is pretty darn impressive if you ask me.

Who knows, maybe a few breaks on special-teams in 2018 will be exactly what propels this Bolts team into the postseason? Until then, the Chargers front office has to take care of business and re-sign some of the team’s most important free agents in the coming months.

When looking at the overall list of the Bolts players whose contracts expired at the end of 2017, there aren’t too many guys who are looking for a big salary boost. Not only will that help the team’s budget when looking at other players this offseason, but it also shows most of the Chargers key players will remain for, at least, another year.

Again, playoffs or not, Los Angeles is well on their way to becoming the best team in the AFC West. I wrote about that before the 2017 season started and it appears I may have been one year too early.

Nevertheless, to get back to playing postseason football in 2018, the Bolts must re-sign these three players before they slip away.
