Following an up-and-down year of NFL picks and predictions, it all comes to a end during Super Bowl 52 between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.

It all comes down to this—a showdown between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII to determine the new champions of the NFL.

Honestly, it comes as a bit of a surprise to see the two top seeds in the AFC and NFC square off for the right to be crowned king of the league. While the Patriots seemed like shoo ins after an outstanding regular season, the Eagles spent most of their postseason run as underdogs following the ACL tear suffered by star quarterback Carson Wentz.

What I really like about this matchup is the huge difference between these two teams in terms of Super Bowl history. During their illustrious history, the Eagles have yet to win a Super Bowl, losing both of their appearances (1980, 2004). Meanwhile, the Patriots have a slight edge in the experience department, as the reigning champs have been to three of the last four Big Games.

So what should we be expecting on Super Sunday? Can the underdog Eagles put on an encore of their NFC Championship game performance, or will Tom Brady simply add another accolade to his resume for greatest quarterback of all-time?

Let’s take a look at the two contenders, see what they bring to the table, and then I’ll give you my pick and score prediction for Super Bowl LII.
