The New England Patriots are looking for back-to-back Super Bowl titles this season. Take a look at five dark-horse MVP candidates for the big game.

The New England Patriots advanced to Super Bowl LII by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship; however, their biggest test of the season awaits with the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend. With Philly’s impressive win over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship, it’s looking like we’re in for another great match-up between the Pats and Eagles on football’s biggest stage.

While it’s easy to see Tom Brady winning another Super Bowl, it’s even easier to see him winning the game’s MVP award once more. The future Hall-of-Fame quarterback has been lights-out since Week 1, which is why it’s safe to say he’s going to have another great game this weekend.

With that said, it’s time to start debating who else on the Patriots could win that award on Sunday night against Philadelphia. New England has built their roster around players who excel in the game’s toughest situations, so there are a plethora of guys who could rise up and take home the honor.

However, there are five specific players, who I believe, are the best dark-horse candidates. These five Patriots have played huge roles in the team getting to the NFL title game and will make or break whether they bring home their sixth Lombardi Trophy.
