Taking a look at who will perform the national anthem for Super Bowl 52 before the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New England Patriots.
On Sunday, Feb. 4, the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots will take the field at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN for Super Bowl LII. Given the passion and history between these two franchises, this game promises to be quite the spectacle from start to finish.
When it comes to the game on the field, there are reasons to be excited. Seeing Nick Foles try and write a humungous underdog story is one thing that we’re watching for the Eagles after their star quarterback, Carson Wentz, went down with a torn ACL in Week 14. Meanwhile, the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick dynasty remains strong and they look to add a sixth Super Bowl trophy to their mantle.
However, when it comes to the big game, there are many other reasons why people tune in. Chief among them, of course, is the Halftime Show. With that being said, it’s also just a sight to see with that many people in such a massive dome for a big game. There’s more than that, though, and one of the other things comes before kickoff ever happens.
Naturally, that’s in reference to the national anthem. While it doesn’t necessarily get the same fanfare as the Halftime Show, performing the anthem at the Super Bowl is a huge honor. You can bet on it with bookmakers in terms of length and the performance will be critiqued inside and out throughout the performance and well after. So, who will have the honor this year.

Pink will perform the national anthem at Super Bowl LII, and it should be great. She’s got a killer set of pipes and should really be able to tear the house down in Minnesota. We shall see if that’s the case or if she has an off night. But no matter the case, it’s her big gig.
