Green Bay Packers: 5 Underrated free agent targets in 2018

5. Seantrel Henderson, OT, Buffalo Bills
Something that derailed the Green Bay Packers in 2017 was injuries — and not just to Aaron Rodgers. They also saw health issues affect the offensive tackle position. With their lack of depth being exposed there, going for a swing tackle like Seantrel Henderson of the Buffalo Bills makes plenty of sense.

A seventh-round pick out of Miami in 2014, Henderson started all 16 games as a rookie for the Bills. He’s only started 11 games since then, but hasn’t been the biggest liability at the position. While he wouldn’t be a starter, he would be perfectly fine as a fill-in should one of the starters miss time again in the future.
Other offensive line targets could include Xavier Su’a Filo from the Houston Texans. He was a highly regarded pick coming out of UCLA and went early in the second. While he struggled there, we saw other former busts succeed elsewhere — like Jonathan Cooper in 2017 with the Dallas Cowboys after failing with the Arizona Cardinals who drafted him in the top-10.
Either way, the Packers would be wise to invest in their offensive line this offseason. Doing so in the draft as well as free agency wouldn’t be the worst idea.
