Super Bowl 52 will feature the dynastic New England Patriots taking on the Philadelphia Eagles from U.S. Bank Stadium, but when does the game start?
When the 2017 season started, everyone expected the New England Patriots to be in contention to make Super Bowl 52. Not only did they complete their historic Super Bowl winning-run against the Falcons last year to capture the fifth title of the Brady-Belichick era, but they returned those players and even improved.
However, as expected as all of this was for the Pats, not many could’ve seen a Super Bowl 52 run coming for the Philadelphia Eagles. They entered the year coming off of back-to-back 7-9 seasons, which was enough to make people be somewhat dubious of their chances. Then, when they lost Carson Wentz for the rest of the season in Week 17, that became more so the case.
Despite the different paths and expectations to get to this point, though, here we are. The Patriots and Eagles will meet and face off at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN on Sunday, Feb. 4. And despite those paths, this is really anyone’s game.
As Philly may be starting Nick Foles, they have one of the best defenses in the NFL and can cause New England matchup problems all over the field. Meanwhile, the Pats defense is questionable at best. Thus, this will be a game that fans need to watch. But when does it start?
Super Bowl 52 will start at 6:30 p.m. ET with kickoff. Meanwhile, coverage on NBC will begin at Noon ET so that fans can be sure to get a full slate of pregame action in before things actually start.
