It’s no secret the Denver Broncos need an upgrade at quarterback, The question now becomes who is the best option and we look now at Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins.

One is the reigning Super Bowl MVP, the other is the first in his storied franchise history to throw for more than 4,000-yards in three seasons in a row. Even so, both Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins will be available during the 2018 NFL offseason, and with the Denver Broncos needing to get better at the position, they could look long and hard at both of these guys.

Denver is currently considered to have an extremely talented roster. They have two talented wide outs in Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas. They also have a solid offensive line that features a high-priced guard in Ronald Leary and a future star in Garrett Bolles.

Then there’s the defense which is led by edge rusher Von Miller and shut-down corner Chris Harris, Jr. Yet the Broncos still finished 5-11. The reason is simple, Trevor Siemian, Paxton Lynch and Brock Osweiler all three combined to deliver some of the most mundane quarterback play of the year.

Now, with draft picks, free agent and trade targets out there, Denver has to make a change. Foles and Cousins both make sense, and it’s not unreasonable to think they could be lured to the Mile High City. Let’s look into each of those two options.
