Isaiah Wynn, Georgia — 6-2, 310 pounds

Even though Isaiah Wynn is a little short at 6-2, he played left tackle for the Bulldogs. He also played some time at guard and center. That gives a team on the professional level a lot of flexibility. Yes, he did well at Georgia, but he will kick inside at the next level. Having that experience at tackle is valuable as he can go in there in a pinch.

Wynn has the perfect lineman’s temperament. He is mean and he is aggressive. He is violent when hitting defenders in the rushing game, knocking them down and opening up nice holes. That attitude is something the Bears lacked. They have it with Long, and Wynn complements him.

Wynn has a strong punch and his technique is great. He is quick off the snap and gets leverage. He is also athletic, with quick feet. That’s what helps him at tackle. Jordan Howard and the other running backs will love Wynn.

That athletic ability and good technique also helped him become a dependable pass blocker. He keeps up with quick pass rushers, helping him at tackle. Over at guard, he’ll have a crowd so that isn’t a worry. His athletic ability helps him pull and get to the second level, where he can handle linebackers. Defensive tackles and guards won’t be able to bull rush him, thus giving Trubisky the protection in the middle.

Wynn drew great reviews at the Senior Bowl. His athleticism and explosiveness at guard really impressed scouts. He projects to go early in the second round. He’d do well in the Bears’ new offense.
