Quarterback of the future

This draft is supposedly littered with top-tier quarterbacks. So, the Giants should be able to find a quarterback of the future with a top two pick in each of the first two rounds.

The man they are looking for doesn’t have to be a first rounder, because they still have Eli Manning, and because of his full no trade clause, they may have no choice but to hold onto him. That may be a good thing, because the quarterback can sit for a year and grow behind Manning.

Offensive line

Just like their stadium-mates, the Giants had a huge offensive line problem. They must re-sign their best one, Justin Pugh, and move Ereck Flowers over to right tackle. They must find a new left tackle in this draft.

Running back

Orleans Darkwa showed some things at the end of 2017, but he’s not a feature back in the NFL, yet, and may never be one. As they rebuild their offensive line, they also must get a running back in order to help their quarterback of the future. Day 2 will be their chance to land a good complimentary back for Darkwa and give them a good tandem with which to build a Super Bowl contender.
