Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan

One of the biggest problems with the Colts has been their offensive line. It’s part of why Andrew Luck has spent the entire 2017 season on the sideline and could miss time in 2018. Whether or not Andrew Luck is behind center doesn’t really matter, they need to improve on the line to have a fully functional offense.

Their running backs, Frank Gore and Marlon Mack, averaged under four yards per carry on the 2017 season. Meanwhile, Jacoby Brisett’s sack total (52) was higher than his QBR for his time under center with Indianapolis.

At 6-6, 330 pounds, Western Michigan offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor is a guy who can help them improve right away. The Nigerian born Okorafor is still raw a bit raw prospect, but he’s three-year starter who has versatility and athleticism, which is why he played both right and left tackle over his collegiate career.

The Colts don’t need much help at left tackle with Anthony Castonzo, who has played at a high level and has been a staple along the line with over 100 starts. Okorafor nastiness and athleticism will surely help in the run game and lining him up to Castonzo’s right would really begin to solidify the Colts line in pass protection.
